Dawn Briggs
Dawn Briggs, Broker/Co-Founder, for Briggs Vance & Associates, joined forces with Barbara Vance in 2013. For 13 years prior, Dawn worked in the area’s largest real estate law firm, Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A., handling all aspects of commercial and residential real estate litigation as one of the firm’s senior paralegals.
Her vast knowledge of the legal system and contracts stemming from dealing with all facets of real estate transactions makes her a vital player in the real estate market. Dawn also brings to the team experience and qualifications in home staging and designs, just another service our team offers our clients. In just 8 short years of practicing as a REALTOR® and Broker beyond the legal industry, Dawn has been involved in closing more than 200 transactions for buyers and sellers.
Dawn is a native Floridian, having lived and raised her 2 sons in Windermere for over 25 years. She is an avid local tennis player.
Barbara Vance
Barbara Vance, REALTOR®/Co-founder of Briggs Vance & Associates, leads a team of expert REALTORS® specializing in Orlando and Central Florida that includes the resort style communities surrounding Disney World, Sea World and Universal in addition to traditional residential areas such as Windermere, Dr. Phillips and Winter Garden. With 37 years of experience in Orlando in residential real estate, almost entirely in the Windermere/Southwest Orlando Area, she is consistently ranked in the top 1% of REALTORS® in the U.S.
Her career formed its foundation in Developer Sales in the 1980’s when she was the on-site leader in sales for a developer & 9 custom home builders in Dr. Phillips’ Orange Tree/St. Ives areas. Upon selling out those communities, Barbara was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing for ABD Development. In 1996, Barbara founded with her late husband “Vance Realty Group,” their own highly respected real estate firm, and grew the company by mentoring and training (what were to become) some of the area’s most successful agents. That company was sold and Barbara continued her residential practice merging with Dawn Briggs to form Briggs Vance & Associates and is again training the agents of tomorrow.
Barbara, too, has been living and raising her 3 sons in the Windermere area for over 25 years. She originally hailed from New Jersey area.
